Responsibilities:
- Loaned Executives and Division Chairs help during campaign by serving as a representative of United Way and providing leadership and support to his/her accounts (local companies holding a United Way campaign). Approximate time commitment is 17-22 hours from August to November. Volunteers drop off materials, serve as a liaison to their accounts, and attend report meetings to announce progress on account campaigns. Prior to assignment, all
volunteers are invited to a free campaign volunteer training. - Please consider becoming a 2011 Loaned Executive/Division Chair, or recommending one of your co-workers or employees. We are looking for volunteers who are highly motivated and desire to enhance their ability to make meaningful contributions to our communities. Good prospects also include:
- retirees seeking continued service to their organizations.
- new employees with management potential.
- employees who desire community involvement.
