Our Loaned Executives & Division Chairs

 

What is a Loaned Executive or Division Chair?:

  • Loaned Executives and Division Chairs help during campaign by serving as a representative of United Way and providing leadership and support to his/her accounts (local companies holding a United Way campaign). Volunteers drop off materials, serve as a liaison to their accounts, and attend report meetings to announce progress on account campaigns. Prior to assignment, all volunteers are invited to a free campaign volunteer training.

 

The Benefits of being a Loaned Executive/Division Chair:

  • Volunteer will help to create lasting change in our communities.
  • Networking opportunities with other local businesses and organizations.
  • Volunteers will have the opportunity to enhance their communications, customer relations and leadership skills.
  • Volunteers will gain visibility for the companies they work for.
  • Volunteers will learn more about United Way, the community and local resources.
  • Volunteers will receive recognition on our website, in a special press release, and during our Thank You Celebration in December.

 

Volunteer Responsibilities:

  • Loaned Executives and Division Chairs help during campaign by serving as a representative of United Way and providing leadership and support to his/her accounts (local companies holding a United Way campaign). Approximate time commitment is 17-22 hours from August to November. Volunteers drop off materials, serve as a liaison to their accounts, and attend report meetings to announce progress on account campaigns. Prior to assignment, all
    volunteers are invited to a free campaign volunteer training.
  • Please consider becoming a 2011 Loaned Executive/Division Chair, or recommending one of your co-workers or employees. We are looking for volunteers who are highly motivated and desire to enhance their ability to make meaningful contributions to our communities. Good prospects also include:
    • retirees seeking continued service to their organizations.
    • new employees with management potential.
    • employees who desire community involvement.
