Our Vision Goals (as of January 2011)
- In January, 2011, our VISION COUNCILS met to identify the current gaps in service - or, where people are "falling through the cracks" - in south Wood and Adams Counties.
- We have three south Wood County Vision Councils, one for each of our Vision Goals: Fulfilling Basic Needs, Helping Children and Youth Succeed, and Supporting our Vulnerable and Aging Populations. We have one Adams County Vision Council. These groups meet EVERY YEAR to re-assess gaps in services.
- The volunteers who make up our Vision Councils include members from human service agencies, health services, school districts, law enforcement and members at large.
- The results of these meetings are this year's Vision Goals, which help shape how United Way funding is distributed. To view the results of this year's Vision Council meetings, please read below:
